Podcasting 2025 Deep Dive

So you’re thinking about starting a podcast? Or already did?

I’m so glad you’re here.

Here’s the thing.

I’ve searched extensively – and almost all the podcasting “best practices” and advice comes from the wrong people…

It comes from people who are professional podcasters whose podcast IS the product.

They often need a minimum of 5,000 to 10,000 downloads PER episode to make any money, not to mention having to go out and sell ads. And for most people it takes a really long time to grow to that level, usually at least 100 episodes.

That’s a lot of working for free. 🤦🏻‍♂️

But as entrepreneurs, we have something most podcasters don’t have, which is why we can be profitable much quicker, even from the first episode.

I’m not a podcaster. I’m an entrepreneur WITH a podcast.

And that distinction makes ALL the difference.

As entrepreneurs, we already have an offer to sell, and so if we have one listener, we can start making money from that ONE listener.

You can and you WILL be profitable when you structure your show the right way (which you’ll learn in this email course).

Michelle, who is in my Done By Lunch Mastermind, told me about a friend with a tiny podcast, and someone heard an episode and decided to invest $400,000 in his company – just from that one episode!

When it comes to podcasting, It feels like the entire internet is saying to “Just Start.” And while “just starting” and trying to figure it out as you go can be better than NEVER starting…

…this advice is the reason most podcasts fail!

In fact, 90% of podcasts don’t make it past 3 episodes, and 90% of those don’t make it past 20! 😕

And the reason is because they don’t see a return on their investment fast enough so it doesn’t feel worth it!
